Aim & Scope

The research activities on novel biosensors based on plasmonic nanostructures have grown very rapidly in the past decade on various fronts. However, there have been few forums for a direct exchange between scientists and engineers working on the different aspects of this topic. The conference that we organize aims at bringing together leading scientists with a wide range of backgrounds, including nano-optics, plasmonics, nanofabrication, microfluidics, surface functionalization, and theoretical electrodynamics

The program provides the speakers with ample time for discussing their work and for interacting with colleagues and students. Furthermore, all participants will present posters. We believe this intensive interaction will help identify and promote mutual understanding of the major challenges to realize efficient and cost-effective nanoplasmonic sensing devices.
